Kotoko bus crashes; one feared dead, coach, players injured

Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s team bus has been involved in what appears to be a fatal accident on a return journey to Kumasi after game week 22 fixture against Inter Allies. The bus had about 35 occupants made up of players and team officials. Details of how the Wednesday night accident occurred are sketchy, but the bus is reported to have run into a stationary truck loaded with rice, with registration number AS 7329-13, according to Kumasi-based Angel FM. Kotoko confirmed the accident on the team’s official twitter account. It said “The accident occurred around 9:45 pm at Nkawkaw, when our bus ran into a stationary vehicle.Personnel on the bus are generally fine. Some are however receiving treatment at the Holy Family Hospital, Nkawkaw. Management requests that fans stay calm. Ghanaian Rapper, Strongman who is currently signed to Sarkcess music is indeed taking his music to a whole new level this year.  Strongman who is currently embarking on a radio/tv promo for his new tune "Transformer" under Sarkcess music disclosed in an interview with Vienty on TMGTV that he would like to collaborate with Shatta wale, Stonebwoy and Mugeez in the near future.  When asked which artiste he would like to work with on his new projects. He emphatically stated that; “I would like to work with these top artistes which are: Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and Mugeeez. I believe under Sarkcess music these collaborations will be made easy because with Sarkcess music everything is possible".  A recent occurrence in Kasoa which eventually led to Yaa Pono’s manager been heckled by some fans of Shatta Wale would not deter the Uptown Energy boss from performing his diss song Gbee Naabu directed at the dancehall artist at the YFM area Codes Jam held at the Kumasi City Mall in Kumasi.  With supercharged fans urging him on, Yaa Pono went on to diss Shatta Wale’s baby mama, Shatta Mitchy during a freestyle session.
